  1. Looks like you had quite the trip! Your video of UCSB is great. My daughter graduated from there a few years back and we sure loved coming to visit. Santa Barbara is such a unique beach town…and Isla Vista itself definitely has a great college vibe! Whenever we came to visit we loved going to the South Coast Deli (www.southcoastdeli.com) – they had the best sandwiches but we hated driving all the way downtown just to get them. Our son (who is a freshman at Santa Barbara City College this year) tells me that they just opened one in Isla Vista…so I guess we are lucky now! We also used to save major $$$ by staying outside of Santa Barbara in Goleta at the South Coast Inn (www.santa-barbara-hotel.com) – I guess we are just South Coast lovers all around =) Glad to see you enjoyed your long cross country journey and are home safe!
